Why are you joining the Washington News Council Community? The Washington News Council has set a new, exciting course for itself. I want to help it achieve its mission.
Tell us a bit about yourself I worked at The Seattle Times for 30 years, including 20 as executive editor. Since retiring in 2008 I’ve committed myself to helping others have the same opportunities I had to do true journalism in service to the public.
